Shanghai Hengye Microcrystalline Materials Technology JSC, as a member of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Association, actively participates in various association activities, contributing to the high-quality development of the chemical industry in Shanghai.

The Shanghai Chemical Industry Association was founded on July 8, 1997 and is an industry public association approved by the Shanghai Civil Administration Office. The Association operates on the basis of membership, has a Council and a Permanent Council, and operates under a system of responsibility of the chairman under the leadership of the Permanent Council. The main functions of the association include industry management, technical consulting, training, editing and production of printed publications, organization of cooperation and exchanges.

On November 20, 2024, the Shanghai Chemical Industry Association held the final meeting to honor the best members for 2024, which was attended by representatives of more than 100 member organizations. The meeting honored outstanding coordinators, outstanding training organizers, outstanding correspondents and outstanding foreign trade base staff from member organizations. Yang Shuhua from Shanghai Hengye Microcrystalline Materials Technology JSC was awarded the title of "Outstanding Coordinator". This award fully reflects the association’s full recognition of the company’s active participation in industry construction and proactive implementation of coordination work.
