HYG10ED is a highly efficient II generation molecular sieve for cryogenic air separation.
The HYG10ED molecular sieve is a sodium aluminosilicate with a crystal pore size of 9–10 Å (about 0.9 nm).
Has a significant adsorption advantage for gases with low CO₂ content (eg air). Compared with conventional HYD10B (13X APG), the CO₂ adsorption capacity is increased by more than 50%, and the operating energy consumption is significantly reduced. Particularly suitable for various large pre-treatment plants in cryogenic air separation.
• High adsorption capacity
• High removal efficiency of water, CO₂ and some hydrocarbons
• Suitable for low temperature systems
• Excellent for oxygen production systems
• Provides a long cycle of industrial operation
• Widely proven industrial applications
Meets the special requirements of the air separation industry, further increases the adsorption capacity for carbon dioxide and water, and prevents freezing of the column during cryogenic air separation. Suitable for various large cryogenic and PSA air separation plants.
• Deep drying of gases
• Adsorption and removal of CO₂
• Natural gas dehydration
• Processing of high purity gases
136.2 kg, sealed steel drum
• The product easily absorbs moisture and should not be left in the open air. Store in a dry place.
• After a certain period of adsorption, regeneration can be carried out. The recommended regeneration temperature is not higher than 350 °C.
• Type X zeolite system
• High-capacity microporous structure
• Porous structure suitable for trapping a wider range of contaminants
When the process requires high impurity removal capacity, especially in oxygen production, air separation and low temperature gas treatment systems, 13X molecular sieve should be preferred.
Question: Why is 13X often used in oxygen production and air separation?
Answer: This is because it can effectively remove moisture, CO₂ and other impurities from the air, which is suitable for pre-treatment conditions in air separation systems and PSA oxygen production systems.
